Legion's fibre network connects with $35 million Sunshine Coast International Broadband Network
We've just had a major win and signed a 15-year agreement with RTI Cable that sees our #fibrenetwork connected directly with the $35 million Sunshine Coast International Broadband Network (which was partly funded by AdvanceQLD). As part of our Fibre-to-the-Premise capability we are also establishing additional infrastructure within the Sunshine Coast Cable Landing Station which provides our customers with long-term confidence in terms of capacity, diversity and resilience. Legion has already connected a range of customers across the region, including Forest Glen, Sippy Downs, Birtinya, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Noosa. Legion's new infrastructure improves broadband options for everyone, from software developers, innovators, freelancers to hotels and bodycorporates who can now access metro CBD speeds and affordability. Legion is a locally owned and funded high growth telecommunications carrier building its own network and providing managed services upto 10 Gbps. More information at https://lnkd.in/d5Yj6yi
