Brisbane entrepreneur Ian Parke has landed one of the largest seed funding rounds for the year, raising $10m for his start-up FIN-PAY from a number of high net worth individuals and family offices. The former The Southport School graduate, who attended The University of Queensland and who won the Mastermind Competition in Luxembourg earlier this year, is aiming to replace Eftpos terminals across Australia, the US, Asia and Europe with his unified payments platform, which can accept all different payment types across cards, QR codes, digital currencies and SMS. #digital #entrepreneur #australia #europe #funding #university #payments #fintech #bank #banking #finance #brisbane #UQ #startup #australia
